In this case study on organic skincare, we’ll focus on our awesome client: Maaries. She is a 23-year-old model from Surrey. She used to suffer from full-blown acne and hyperpigmentation despite trying all kinds of skincare products. Those products were probably not organic and contained harmful ingredients that weren’t effective in treating her very sensitive skin.

Maaries’ Story

“All my childhood and teens I had immaculate skin. At the age of 20, I began to have problematic skin and by 21 I had full-blown acne. I tried everything to stop my breakouts and nothing was helping for a long time. I was a full-time model and this began to have such a big impact on my confidence and work. I took such pride in my skin and now I couldn’t stand to even look at it. I stopped working for a while because of how bad I was feeling.

The Lemon and Blackseed scrub is a staple in my skincare regime. I use it 3 times a week, even when my skin is at its best because it’s just so good! You can feel the difference straight after when all the dead skin is away. And it smells divine. When I’m having a bad skin week, I use the acne potion on my breakouts and Vita A to make sure no more skin surprises pop up. Vita A is so good at stopping new breakouts from forming. It stops them right in their tracks.

So after my skin became manageable I still had such bad hyperpigmentation and scars (it was my own doing because I couldn’t help but pick at my skin). So I took the questionnaire on the website and discovered the glow regime. At this stage, my main skin problem was these little dark patches. I carried on using the Lemon and Blackseed scrub because it was already helping fade my marks by exfoliating away the dead skin, but I’m impatient and wanted them gone faster.

So with the combination of Vita C and the OUD Elixir, I began the next leg in my journey and my skin was GLOWING. Wow, from the second you put them on you can see an immediate glow and dew that lasts all day. My dehydrated, dry skin loved it! I use the Elixir under my makeup every time! And I no longer have dry patches that my makeup clings to! And most importantly it doesn’t break me out! Which a lot of dewy and hydrating products had done in the past!

To be frank, I don’t think there is one, having tried almost everything. But this definitely helped speed up my healing and made me look so good in the process.
